Fall 2018 HR Forum: Come Aboard!

Come Aboard! Take a journey with HR as we work together to create a great employee experience at McMaster.

During this informative day, we will make various stops on our journey including:

Opening Remarks and Strategic Updates from Wanda McKenna, AVP and Chief Human Resources Officer

Breakout session options:

• Coming Aboard! – an informative session with updates on what’s new and upcoming in the areas of Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding at McMaster
• Being Onboard – a panel of internal and external experts will explore the topic of Effective Performance Management: Doing What Comes Naturally
• Are you Onboard? – Psychological Health and Safety at McMaster - an interactive session that will provide an introduction to psychological health and safety, including the prevention of harm to mental health and support of psychological well-being at McMaster.

Island Hopping - attendees will have the opportunity to interact with various HR teams to learn about new initiatives and “ask the experts” with your HR related questions.

Keynote Speaker: Adapting to Change – using a pracademic approach to disseminate the most relevant and worthy research in leadership, organizational development and team building, Karen Watt from Karen Watt Communications, will use improv to lead, build and inspire her audience.

Who should attend? University community partners who are engaged in Human Resources related work activities.

Continental breakfast, lunch buffet and free parking will be provided for attendees.
